Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2017

The 2017 edition of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) saw two Singaporeans become the national champions for the first time.

SEA Games Gold Medallist Soh Rui Yong and Team Singapore marathoner Rachel See were crowned National Champions, clocking a time of 2:35:55 and 3:11:02, respectively.

The marathon serves as this year’s official National Championships race for top local runners after a tie-up between race organiser Ironman Asia and national sports association Singapore Athletics.

Kenyans Cosmos Koech Kimutai (2:22:48) and Pamela Rotich Kipsogei (2:38:31) won the men’s and women’s elite categories, respectively.
