Best dressed this week: Malaika Arora, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone
It was a week of pretty pastels, with Malaika Arora Khan opting for a soft sky blue Gauri & Nainika number, Nimrat Kaur in a mint green maxi, and Vogue India June cover star Kangana Ranaut in a baby pink Antonio Marras gown. Shades of peach showed up too, in Pernia Qureshi's self-designed crop and pants combo and Vidya Balan's summer sari.
Neha Dhupia and Deepika Padukone also kept things light in terms of colour this week. The first went traditional at Nishka Lulla's wedding brunch with an ivory and gold Rohit Bal lehenga, while the latter was super sleek in a white Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna day suit.
For the rest in the country, it was all about bright hues. Tammanaah Bhatia flaunted shades of red in Sabyasachi, and Shamita Shetty picked an intense pink dress for her day out.
The flashes of colour and shine didn't stop there. Internationally, the CFDA Awards saw a wave of embellished ensembles starting with Amanda Seyfried in Rodarte, followed by Diane Kruger in a crimson Prabal Gurung, and Michelle Monaghan in a gold Monique Lhuillier. Kate Hudson's metallic gown was equally striking in a rich bronze hue.
Nargis Fakhri's look at the New York premiere of Spy deserves a special mention. Off-late, the actor's looks have been super clean and fuss-free. Can you recognize her in that Samuel Dougal gown and chic short hair?
