People get hold of the new iPhone 5S and 5C in Singapore

About 10 people were seen queuing for the new iPhone smartphones outside an M1 outlet at The Paragon Shopping Centre in Orchard Road on Thursday. The first person to start the queue, Melva Yip, 22, lined up at 3:30pm and will have waited for about 16 hours by the time the outlet opens at 8am on Friday. Yip was also the first to queue for the iPhone 4S last year in the same place. This year’s queue is in stark contrast to the previous year, which saw hundreds of Singaporeans waiting in line for the iPhone 4S.
