Plans unveiled for village housing development
Plans to build more than 150 new homes in a Lincolnshire village have been unveiled.
Grantham-based developer T Balfe Construction Ltd has submitted a proposal to build in Billinghay, near Sleaford.
Approximately 20% of the properties proposed for land east of Mill Lane would be designated as affordable, the developer said.
The application will be considered by North Kesteven District Council.
If approved, the 152-property development would feature a mix of three-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, as well as bungalows and two-bed terraces.
About 5% of the site would be reserved for custom and self-build plots, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The development would also include the planting of trees and shrubs, along with two new vehicular entrances off Mill Lane.
