The PlayStation Plus games for June 2024 have been announced.

PlayStation is currently in the middle of its 2024 Days of Play event, offering PS5 and PSVR2 bundles as well as a number of its games at a discount.

Coinciding with the start of this promotion, Sony has shared all of the games being added to the PlayStation Plus subscription service across all tiers.

If you're looking to make a saving on your PS Plus subscription, PlayStation Store gift cards are discounted on CDKeys. For example, a £100 gift card can be bought for £87.99.

Here's what's coming to PlayStation Plus next month at the base tier (Essential) on June 4...

AEW: Fight Forever

AEW Fight Forever is the first game by developer Yuke's that's based on All Elite Wrestling. It came out last summer, and features a roster that includes the likes of Kenny Omega, Hikaru Shida, The Young Bucks, and Britt Baker. (Jamie Hayter is among those available as DLC.)

In our review last year, we said Fight Forever was a "solid foundation" and was made with a lot of love, but did have its shortcomings.

"It's just a shame it falls short in certain areas related to story, features and creation. Despite this, there's a lot for AEW fans to like here," we said.

Streets of Rage 4

Streets of Rage 4 is a continuation of Sega's popular Mega Drive/Genesis beat-'em-up series, releasing 26 years after the previous game. While returning to a series after so long can be a risky idea, the revival acknowledges what made the original trilogy fun in the first place while making improvements to bring the game into the current era.

As a result, the game received positive reviews and enjoyed decent sales numbers as well.

SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake

Released last year, SpongeBob Squarepants's latest platformer on consoles heads into multiverse territory, with SpongeBob and Patrick exploring alternate realities called Wishworlds.

The seven worlds that can be explored in The Cosmic Shake are distinct, and while the game received a middling reception, SpongeBob fans who are partial to a decent collectathon may find plenty to enjoy here.
