PlayStation Plus games leaving in October 2023
PlayStation Plus has confirmed which games will be leaving the Extra and Premium tiers in October 2023.
The middle and top tiers of the subscription service adds around 20 games to the huge library every month, but every now then games get removed. Thankfully we get to know ahead of time, with this batch of 16 games leaving on October 17, so make sure to get them whilst you still can.

The games leaving the Extra tier are:
Far Cry 4
Far Cry 5
The Medium
Inside
Limbo
The Crew
Naruto to Boruto: Shino Striker
Clouds and Sheep 2
Astebreed
Torquel
Gal Gunvolt Burst
Goosebomps: The Game
These are all PS4 games, with The Quarry also having a native PS5 version to really take advantage of the hardware.
Meanwhile, the Remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 are all leaving Premium on the same date.

It is worth noting that if you claimed any of these games when they were available for a month through PS Plus Essential over the years (for example, Naruto to Boruto was one of the monthly games in June 2022), then you'll still be able to play them without having to buy them. They will lose the ability to be streamed through Premium, however.
This month's PS Plus Extra and Premium games have already been added to the service, and they include Unpacking, nearly every Star Ocean game, multiple games from developer Vanillaware, and the remaster of Nier Replicant, the prequel to critical darling Nier Automata.
