Pointless' Richard Osman shares sweet throwback with his wife

Former Pointless presenter Richard Osman has shared a throwback to his and wife Ingrid Oliver's first meeting.

The author and presenter had met the Doctor Who actress when she appeared as a contestant on his show House of Games in 2020, with the pair going on to get married in December last year.

With the episode being broadcast again this week, Osman took the chance to make a sweet post to his wife, calling the episode his all-time favourite.

"My favourite repeat week of all-time on #HouseOfGames this week. The first time I met my wife," he tweeted, tagging Oliver in the post.

Friends of the couple were quick to reply to the tweet, with comedian Aisling Bea joking that she wanted to star in a future adaption of the couple's love story. "Oh ma gad can i play Ingrid in the movie, or you, yeah, can I play you? I have heels," she wrote.

"Aw we watched it trying to look for subtle clues ! How romantic x," added Celebrity Gogglebox star Lucy Beaumont.

Rower and broadcaster Matthew Pinsent, who had appeared on the same episode, jokingly added that Oliver was "greedy" to win the episode and find a husband.
