Horizons follows two new heroes, Liko and Roy, as they explore the Pokémon world, coming into contact with an array of creatures. Along the way, they team up with the Rising Volt Tacklers, all while being pursued by an organisation that seeks Liko’s pendant.

A brief trailer for the series was shared on social media, with the iPlayer release confirmed for December: “It’s time for a new Pokémon adventure! Get ready to meet Liko and Sprigatito, as well as Roy and Fuecoco in Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” read the caption.

“We are incredibly excited to be working with prestigious partners, the BBC, to bring our latest animation Pokémon Horizons: The Series to BBC iPlayer,” said Peter Murphy, senior marketing director at The Pokémon Company International (via Eurogamer).
