Pokemon Go player finds body floating near Woodlands Waterfront Jetty

A Pokemon Go player in Singapore is said to have discovered a body floating near Woodlands Waterfront Jetty while out playing the game on Sunday (7 August) morning.

According to citizen journalism website Stomp, netizen Azmi Suarez made the discovery and posted pictures of the scene, including the body, on his Facebook page.

A Singapore Police Force (SPF) spokesman said that the police received a call for assistance at Woodlands Waterfront Park at 9.41am that morning. Upon arrival at the scene officers found the body of a woman floating in the water around the jetty.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene and the police are investigating this case of unnatural death.
