The royals have stepped out for yet another event just days after Kate Middleton's headline-making appearance at this year's Trooping the Colour. The Royal Ascot, a week-long horse racing meet, began on Tuesday, and while Prince William and Princess Kate sat out this particular event, other family members represented the Firm on the first day of the annual racing spectacle.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were spotted during the inaugural day of the 2024 affair, in addition to Charles's niece—Princess Anne's daughter—Zara Tindall and her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall. For the event, Zara arrived looking fresh as a daisy in a sheer yellow dress with statement sleeves that screamed Bridgerton.

The royal was photographed alongside her husband in a serotonin-boosting pale yellow tea-length dress with a subtle pattern, belted midsection, sheer shoulder paneling, and a collared neckline. It was the dress's see-through chiffon puffy sleeves, though, that looked like something season 3 leading lady Penelope Featherington would have worn on the hit Netflix show (before she traded her citrus colors for a teal wardrobe, of course). Aside from her traditional wide-brimmed fascinator, Tindall gave her look a more modern feel with her accessories, including an ivory clutch, gold bangles, drop earrings, and square sunglasses.

Mike opted for a black tailcoat and charcoal pinstripe trousers styled with a vest, button-down, and a yellow tie to match his wife. The podcaster and former athlete finished off the look with a traditional black top hat, which is a requirement for all men attending the event, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Charles and Camilla rode in on a carriage while waving to onlookers. Charles wore a gray tailcoat with a lemon-colored vest and, of course, a black top hat. Camilla wore a cobalt blue coatdress and a matching fascinator.
