Quake of magnitude 6.2 strikes in Tibet - USGS

(Reuters) - An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck the Himalayan region of Tibet on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake, which hit at a depth of 25 km (16 miles), about 300 km (186 miles) northwest of the city of Qamdo.
