Rami Malek has given a rare insight into his relationship with fellow actor Emma Corrin.

The exact length of time that Oscar-winning Malek, 43, and Nosferatu star Corrin, 23, have been dating is unknown, but they went public with their relationship in July 2023.

He was drawn in a new interview with The Guardian on the union while promoting his west end stage debut in Oedipus at the Old Vic theatre. Malek is set to play the titular character of the iconic Greek tragedy opposite Indira Varma.

“That person [is] fascinating,” Malek told the publication of his partner, who uses 'they/them' pronouns.

When the journalist described Corrin as “smart and quirky,” he replied: “We like quirky”.

He also revealed that Corrin organised a surprise Thanksgiving dinner for him last year, which “blew him away”.

Malek and Corrin first met while working on the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018.

Prior to getting together with them, Malek dated actress Lucy Boynton for close to five years.

Corrin came out as non-binary in 2022, telling Vogue at the time: “In my mind, gender just isn’t something that feels fixed and I don’t know if it ever will be; there might always be some fluidity there for me.”

The Crown star continued: “I like people. My first date with a girl, they were like, ‘Oh! You’re a baby queer!’

“It was amazing. We actually didn’t end up seeing each other again, but she really gave me the lowdown.'

They added: “I’m working out all this complex gender and sexuality stuff. And yet, I’m seeing a guy? That feels very juxtaposed, even if I’m very happy.”
