Ramona Singer Attends “RHUGT: RHONY Legacy” Premiere After Missing BravoCon amid Ongoing Controversy
A racist comment that the reality star allegedly made while filming 'Real Housewives of New York' received renewed backlash earlier this year

But attendees at Tuesday’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy premiere didn’t have to wonder when Singer, 67, showed up and posed on the red carpet.
The appearance came one month after Singer pulled out of BravoCon 2023 last minute due to backlash for an allegedly racist comment she made during her final RHONY season that recently resurfaced.
After posing for pictures at GH on the Park on Tuesday, Singer did not talk to reporters on the carpet. She briefly entered the party where she joined her castmates in singing "Happy Birthday" to costar Dorinda Medley before heading out.
Medley, 59, posted clip, which Singer reposted, of the moment on her Instagram Story.
“I’m just so excited and you’re going to love it,” Singer said on her Story of the new season. “It’s going to air on Peacock starting 6 a.m. Who’s going to get up at 6 a.m. to start watching? I watched all three episodes, one is more entertaining than the next. This is going to be the best season we ever did. You’re going to laugh and have so much fun. And we’re all hysterical if I do say so myself. I mean, remember, eagles don’t fly with pigeons!”

Medley and Singer star on RHUGT: RHONY Legacy alongside Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan and Kristen Taekman. The series filmed in January in St. Barts.
Following the backlash to the comment that kept her from BravoCon, Singer lost her job as a broker at Douglas Elliman. The remark came out in a Vanity Fair article that claimed she used a racial slur during the production of her final season.

The cast of 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy' in N.Y.C. on Dec. 12.According to Vanity Fair, Singer directed the slur towards a Black crew member, which caused complaints to be filed against Shed Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Bravo and NBCUniversal.
Results from an internal investigation at the time were reportedly "inconclusive," and Singer stated to Vanity Fair that she "never" used the slur.
Andy Cohen said at BravoCon last month that it "was the right call" for Singer not to attend the convention.

Singer previously said she felt happier since leaving RHONY.
“I'm calmer,” she told The Daily Mail. “I don't miss it at all. It was a great experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything.”
