‘Real Housewives’ Star Sonja Morgan Is Selling the Furniture From Her Famed Manhattan Townhouse
Sonja Morgan finally found a buyer for her famous New York City townhouse and now, she’s bidding farewell to all her furniture too.
The former Real Housewives of New York star is debuting an online shop with furniture resale company Kaiyo to offer fans a chance to snag more than 100 pieces of decor from her iconic Upper East Side residence. The lot includes antiques from the prominent Morgan family estate, as well as pre-owned furnishings that have a place in Bravo reality TV history.

The collection includes an assortment of furniture, lamps, and more, including Morgan’s wrought-iron backyard furniture set which she famously repainted with the help of her co-stars, Countess Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer. The set, which adorned the socialite’s 35-foot garden, features an Art Nouveau scalloped outdoor bench ($872), a Salternini-style table ($746), six patio chairs ($713), and a bar cart ($688).

Additionally, there’s a futon that Morgan famously slept on while her primary bedroom was being renovated ($978), a vintage Queen headboard which Tinsley Mortimer used while staying at Morgan’s in season nine ($547), and an area rug from Jill Zarin’s Unique Loom line ($484). Also on the sale lineup are a vintage Louis XIII-style desk and chair ($3,307), a rustic writing table ($1,577), and more pieces from the banking family’s estate. Unfortunately, you won’t find any Morgan letters.
The OG housewife sold her five-story Manhattan home at 162 East 63rd Street in May when the dwelling went under the hammer with Concierge Auctions. The 4,650-square-foot residence ultimately fetched $4.45 million, which was roughly half of its purchase price. Fans of the series know that Morgan has been trying to offload the Gilded Age townhouse for over a decade. She originally bought the place in 1998 alongside her husband, J.P. Morgan heir John Adams Morgan. She first put the home on the market in 2013 following their divorce, however, up until last month, she’s been unsuccessful in finding a buyer.

“This townhouse has been our cherished home for decades,” Morgan said in a statement. “In addition to raising my daughter here, we entertained heads of state, royalty, luminaries, and Fortune 500 CEOs. Many memories were made over the years, including hosting my daughter’s friends from boarding school and university, and so many noteworthy moments were filmed by NBC for Bravo and Peacock TV. Now, as an empty nester, I am ready to share this turnkey, easy-to-manage jewel over to someone new to enjoy as we did.”
