“RHOBH”: Kyle Says She and Mauricio 'Need Help,' Feels Left in the Cold After Supporting Him 'When He Had Nothing'

"If there's no effort made or put into us, we're not going to end up together. We'll never survive this," Kyle confessed of her marriage to the real estate agent

Kyle Richards is getting into the nitty gritty of her marital problems with Mauricio Umansky on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On Wednesday's episode of the Bravo show, the reality star, 55, revealed that she and her husband, 53, were working on things in therapy and were making progress in identifying their issues.

While catching up with Dorit Kemsley in her home, Kyle explained that she and Mauricio rarely ever get into fights. Contrary to popular belief, the Halloween actress shared how the couple's lack of arguments had negatively affected their communication.

"So often it's like, something will bother one of us and it's like we'd just rather be peaceful and just not deal," she continued. "I am more the one that will say 'this upsets me' and I have that fiery side where he's more like just wants to be peaceful all the time, but that's not always a good thing."

She also noted how Mauricio's constant traveling and their busy work schedules haven't been conducive to repairing their rift, especially because the Agency founder's absence has made him miss out on important events in their family's lives.

"I almost feel like he thinks 'give Kyle some time and she'll get over and she'll be fine' but I'm telling him ... it's a lot more than that," she confessed to the cameras. "We need help."

With the real estate professional's business rapidly growing, Kyle explained that his attention has been divided between work and family. She shared how Mauricio had agreed to take on more responsibilities and often pours all of his "energy" into solving issues at work.

After calling Mauricio out for treating the Agency like "his child," she wondered, "So I'm like, if we're having these issues, why can't you give [me] that energy?"

Kyle continued in a confessional, "I've supported him through everything since day 1 when he had nothing, and when I told him that we are in trouble and I need you to work through this with me, I needed to feel like I was a priority and we were a priority."

"If there's no effort made or put into us, we're not going to end up together," she continued. "We'll never survive this."

In July 2023, PEOPLE broke the news that Kyle and Mauricio had separated. When season 13 of RHOBH premiered in October, Kyle acknowledged that this latest round of filming was "challenging to say the least" in a candid post shared to Instagram.

"Here we go again. Each season always brings surprise twists and turns. This season more than ever," wrote Kyle.

From eagle-eyed housewives spotting missing wedding bands to friends in the cast concerned that about her new lifestyle changes, fans have seen Kyle and Mauricio's highs and lows pan out before their eyes.

In one episode, she admitted that she feared that the couple were "growing in different directions."

“I think with the way my relationship is right now, I'm not happy,” she said in a confessional interview. “I'm sort of now working on myself inside, and I feel like he's very focused on his work. I don't want to wake up, you know, a few years down the road and be like, ‘Who are you?’”
