It’s a family affair for Richard Gere in Cannes!
The actor, 74, was supported by his son Homer James Jigme Gere and wife Alejandra Silva at the afterparty of his new film Oh, Canada in Cannes, France, on Friday, May 17.
The trio were pictured together at the afterparty held at Lucia Cannes restaurant. Gere and Homer, 24, were a dashing duo in matching tuxedo suits, while Silva, 41, stunned in a black floral-embroidered gown.
Geres shares eldest son Homer with his second wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell, whom he split from in 2013. He also has two younger sons: Alexander, 4, and a second born in 2020, whose name has not yet been revealed, shared with Silva, whom he secretly tied the knot with in 2018.

Homer’s latest appearance with his dad comes after only a few public appearances over the years at events with the actor.
Gere has kept generally private over his marriage and family life as he has prioritized fatherhood over his film career in recent years.
Speaking in March 2015 over his decision to do so, he told the Hindustan Times: "My film decisions are mostly mine, but I'm very careful about not being away from my son, Homer James Jigme Gere, for very long. So, if I have to be away for long, I talk to him about it, and if there is a problem, I don't take up the project. And I have done that. Your family is more important than anything."
Gere’s celebratory night in Cannes with his family follows a loving display he shared with his wife on the red carpet at the premiere of his latest movie Oh, Canada at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Friday, May 17.

The actor last appeared with his wife on the red carpet at a special screening of his film Maybe I Do in January 2023.
Gere opened up about his marriage with Silva that same month, telling Extra: "There's always two things that are going on at the same time in any relationship. It's that you, as an individual, are still trying to figure out who you are always. How do you share that with another person, and does it fit?"
"The person that you are today was not the same person you were 50 years ago when the relationship started … so it's a constant checking in,” he added.
