Rihanna Dazzles in Gorgeous Ruby and Diamond Necklaces
Rihanna arrived at the Rihanna x Fenty Hair Launch on Monday, in a spectacular, monochrome red look—complete with cropped gingerhair, ruby jewels, and carmine satin heels. Her red leather set, custom-designed by Khaite and Manish Malhotra, featured a silky camisole covered by a slouchy red jacket and a scrunched, tight-fitting maxi skirt, both of which were fabricated with a thick, waxy leather. The red set is reminiscent of her 2023 performance at the Super Bowl, when Rihanna wore a similarly baggy red jacket topping off layers of deep red in differing textures.
Her heels—pointed-toe, crimson red pumps—were also bedazzled with double crystal ankle straps. But the highlight of her outfit was definitely the jewelry. The pop star chose two necklaces, each featuring red gems and diamonds.
The large, intricate choker, embedded with custom-cut rubies and crafted in 18K gold, is from the Manish Malhotra High Jewellery collection. The three-stone pendant, crafted by Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and hung by a sparkling chain, featured rubellite stones in various hues of red, mirroring her monochromatic outfit. Not to mention, she wore a matching ring and diamond earrings.
Recently, Rihanna has been favoring Indian designers. Notably, for her private performance at the pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant, Rihanna dressed in a custom the Attico pistachio green and pink dress adorned with micro Swarovski crystals, which she paired with a heavy assortment of necklaces by Indian designers.
Rihanna's Fenty Hair line is officially launching tomorrow. In a promotional video posted her Instagram, Rihanna explains, "You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural—so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style."
