A-road shut after reports of loose horses
An A-road has been blocked after reports of horses running loose on the carriageway.
The A505 in Royston, Hertfordshire, was shut near Binyon Way in both directions at about 18:00 BST, according to police.
Congestion is back to Kneesworth and Melbourn, with traffic on local roads building around the town.
Herts Police warned drivers to avoid the area where possible.
