Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda has insisted they still have sex – but that it isn’t Bridgerton-style.
The couple hit the headlines last year after Robbie was quoted by The Sun as saying that “everyone knows there’s no sex after marriage”. But Ayda has now set the record straight during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women, revealing that they are still intimate.
However, she joked that after watching Bridgerton, Netflix’s steamy historical romance, she realised she wouldn’t be getting up close and personal on a ladder or on the grass – as being a pet owner she’d have to “move all the dog poop over” first.

Ayda was chatting to the Loose Women panel about the sex life stories when one asked if it was true. Laughing, she replied: “We do have sex… it does happen, there is a thing that happens!”
She went on: “It was COVID times and I was watching Bridgerton, we both had COVID so Rob was like, quarantining away from me, I was quarantining away, I had this programme to watch.
“There were these scenes where she is like, up a ladder and then they are in grass and it’s happening. And I had that moment where I was like, ‘I don’t think I’m ever going to do it up a ladder or in the grass’.
"And if it happened in the grass, I would have to move all the dog poop over!”
But the star said that their "intimacy is way higher than it was before".
"He says I love you 20 times a day and we call each other as well," she explained. "Before we came on just now, he just said 'I love you so much'."
"We are connected to the core," she added.
How long have Robbie and Ayda Williams been married?
Robbie and Ayda tied the knot in 2010 and they have four children together.
They welcomed daughter Teddy in 2012 and son Charlie followed two years later. In 2018 they had daughter Coco via a surrogate and in 2020 they revealed they had used the same surrogate to have a baby boy named Beau.
