Rodrigues scores twice as Panthers beat Oilers for 2-0 series lead in Stanley Cup final

Evan Rodrigues scored twice in the third period as the Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup final on Monday night in Sunrise, Fla.

Niko Mikkola scored the second-period equalizer for Florida and fellow defenceman Aaron Ekblad added a late empty-netter.

Sergei Bobrovsky finished with 18 saves for the win.

Oilers blue-liner Mattias Ekholm scored Edmonton's lone goal in the opening frame.

Game 3 is set for Thursday at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
