Rory McIlroy is back on the green after calling off his divorce from wife Erica Stoll.

McIlroy, 35, was seen during practice at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina on Wednesday, June 12 ahead of the U.S. Open, but the golfer was noticeably still sans wedding band during the outing.

The four-time major champion appeared to be in good spirits during the practice, smiling and laughing while talking to his caddie, Harry Diamond, and German golfer Martin Kaymer.

McIlroy was wearing shorts and a grey polo, and topped his outfit with a white Nike baseball cap.

According to Golf.com, McIlroy and Kaymer, who won the U.S. Open in 2014, played a nine-hole practice on Wednesday ahead of the tournament. The outlet said McIlroy "chatted casually" with the caddies and Kaymer before signing autographs for kids once he finished his practice.

He said that in the "past weeks" since filing for divorce, he and Stoll "have realized that our best future was as a family together" per The Guardian. "Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning," he added.
