The 2024-25 season takes a step closer today as Manchester United begin their pre-season at Rosenborg.

Training for the new campaign has been underway for most clubs for a little while and preparations are gently being ramped up, despite last season not seeming so long ago and Euro 2024 finishing less than 24 hours before this frendly.

United will take a youthful side to Norway for the first of five friendlies this summer, which features trips to Edinburgh, Los Angeles and South Carolina before the Community Shield in just under a month’s time.

Rosenborg are midway through their season and sit eighth in the Eliteserien.

Rosenborg vs Man Utd is scheduled for a 5pm BST kick-off on Monday July 15, 2024.

The match will take place at Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim, Norway.
