A number of RuPaul's Drag Race legends have landed comedy specials on Prime Video.

Fans will be able to enjoy the hilarious antics of a number of fabulous faces from this month, with Monét X Change, Ginger Minj, Bebe Zahara Benet, Darienne Lake, Peppermint and Jinkx Monsoon all confirmed for stand-ups (via EW).

Kicking things off is Darienne, whose reflections on her upbringing in a Catholic family and finding her chosen family in Altered Boy is available now.

Following on on April 18 is Peppermint's So-SIGH-ety Effects, which sees her look at being a single Black transgender woman in today's society, while Africa Is Not a Country sees Bebe recount immigrating from West Africa to the US with sketches, and launches on May 2.

Jinkx's special Red Head Redemption will stream from May 16, and sees the star candidly and hilariously look back on her journey "as a trans-femme, non-binary, alcoholic, ethical slut".

Following from that on May 30 is Ginger's Bless Your Heart, a musical memoir of her Southern Baptist upbringing, and Monét's Fist of Glory premieres on June 13, which will be a "comedic romp" on everything from playing the pink Power Ranger in Brooklyn to an opera performance about fisting.

The news comes after it was confirmed that Jinkx had landed a major role in the new series of Doctor Who, though who she will be playing remains under wraps for now.

“I’m honoured, thrilled, and utterly excited to join Doctor Who," the star said. "Russell T. Davies is a visionary and a brilliant writer. I can’t wait to get into the weeds with him and the crew! I hope there’s room in the TARDIS for my luggage.”

RuPaul's Drag Race US airs on MTV in the US and WOW Presents Plus in the UK.
