A new group of your favourite queens will be hitting the runway in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8.

On Thursday (April 2), producers World of Wonder confirmed that 12 contestants from seasons past will return to the Werk Room on May 12, 2023 on Paramount+ in the US and WOW Presents+ in the UK.

The cast leans heavily on more recent seasons of Drag Race US, but does feature a few memorable faces from the early years of the groundbreaking competition.

All Stars 8 also breaks tradition from more recent years as it's the first since season 3 not to invite back previous All Stars, though Canada's Drag Race star Jimbo has previously appeared on UK vs The World.

The All Stars will be competing for a coveted spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame, plus an impressive grand prize of $200,000. Fans will be able to check out all of the backstage tea when All Stars Untucked follows each new episode.

Of course, RuPaul is back at the head of the judging table, alongside regular panellists Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley. Guest judges will be unveiled in due course.

The most recent regular season of RuPaul's Drag Race finished last week with Sasha Colby being crowned America's Next Drag Superstar. New seasons from Canada, the UK and more regional spinoffs are on the way.

RuPaul's Drag Race US airs on MTV in the US and WOW Presents Plus in the UK. All Stars 8 will be premiering on May 12, 2023 on Paramount+ in the US and Wow Presents Plus in the UK.
