Russia hits Kryvyi Rih with Iskander-M missile: Four missing, nine dead, 32 injured

The Russians struck a residential area in Kryvyi Rih, allegedly with an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, the head of the city defense council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported on Telegram on June 12.

Authorities confirmed nine fatalities and 32 injuries, including five children. Four people are missing, Oleksandr Vilkul said.

A total of 41 apartment buildings, one gymnasium, and two vocational schools were damaged, he added.

Vilkul stated that necessary assistance is being provided and doctors are fighting to save the lives of the injured.

Russian forces hit a residential area in Kryvyi Rih on June 12. The strike occurred around 3:45 p.m. EET, regional Governor Serhiy Lysak reported. The emergency rescue operation at the missile attack site concluded that evening.
