Speaking to the Daily Star about his other half, Sam said: "Zara handles pressure. She's cool. Zara's worked so hard that nothing, I don't think, will ever faze her. I genuinely don't.
"I think that whatever gets put in Zara's way in her life... I'm lucky enough to have been with her for four and a bit years now and when she puts her mind to something, she's absolutely unstoppable," he added.
"I haven't seen anything faze her yet."
Speaking when she was announced for the show, Zara said: "I am so excited to be joining the world of Strictly! I grew up watching it every year with my nan and she was the biggest Strictly fan. We would dance around the house and I have such fond memories of that time in my life.
"I even remember the first ever series, and being mesmerised by all the beautiful dresses! I can’t wait to throw myself into this experience and start training. It’s going to be incredible."
Zara is part of a huge line-up that includes entertainer Les Dennis, Coronation Street's Ellie Leach, EastEnders's Bobby Brazier, Waterloo Road's Adam Thomas, journalist Angela Rippon, news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy and BBC Asian Network presenter Nikita Kanda.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
