Sarah Michelle Gellar Says She 'Had to Explain' a Payphone to Her 11-Year-Old Son Rocky

The actress opened up about the relatable parenting experience in a recent Instagram Stories post

Sarah Michelle Gellar is teaching her son Rocky some valuable lessons!

In a series of Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 30, the actress, 47, chronicled her day in Las Vegas, which included a stop at Meow Wolf's Omega Mart with her 11-year-old pre-teen.

The mom of two gave a glimpse of their time at the interactive art experience by including a snap of Rocky inside a phone booth.

"Had to explain to my son what this was," quipped Gellar.

It's no surprise that Gellar stopped at the attraction during their visit, as its website states: "It's a must-see immersive art experience for all ages."

Gellar also shared photos from Illuminarium Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Sphere.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum revealed that she's in Las Vegas in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 29.

"Vegas Era Sarah is a good time," she wrote next to two photos of herself dressed in wide-legged jeans and a sexy black corset.

Gellar is also the mother of 14-year-old Charlotte. She shares both kids with her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr, who she married in 2002.

While speaking about their marriage, Gellar previously told PEOPLE that they've always aimed to make time for each other and their kids.

“Take the 10 minutes – put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night. Read a story with your kids. Make the most of the time that you have. We are all pulled in so many directions, so make sure that, whichever one you are focusing on, you’re present," she told PEOPLE.
