Succession star Sarah Snook has landed her next leading TV role since the show ended.

Variety reports that Snook will star in All Her Fault, a series based on the novel of the same name by Andrea Mara which has greenlit at Peacock.

The official logline for the series reads: "Marissa Irvine (Snook) arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school.

"But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognises. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare."

Last year Snook said goodbye to Shiv Roy when Succession ended on HBO after four seasons.

In May it was announced that her one-woman production of The Picture of Dorian Gray was heading to Broadway after she received rave reviews on London's West End.

Deadline reported that Snook had signed on to reprise her 26 characters throughout the spring of next year.

Meanwhile, Snook previously revealed that she was once scolded on set by a producer for eating some cake, leaving her 'dying inside'.

In an interview with The Times, Snook said she was labelled a "nobody" by a casting agent, recalling: "[I was told] 'What we'll do is change all of you so that you're marketable. We'll whiten your teeth, darken your hair, we'll give you a personal trainer so you can lose weight and look the part.'"

Last March Snook welcomed her first child, a daughter, with Australian comedian Dave Lawson.

Snook announced the birth on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and her newborn watching Succession and wrote: "It's hard to express what this show has meant to me. The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with…it breaks my heart that it is all over.

"But my heart had to be this full of all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break at all…so that makes me grateful."

Succession aired on HBO in the US, and is available on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
