Sarahbeth Taite is reveling in the joys of love and motherhood.

In her new single "Diamond and a Baby," which PEOPLE can exclusively premiere the music video for, the rising country singer has teamed up with three-time Grammy award-winning producer and former Taylor Swift collaborator Nathan Chapman, as well as songwriter Parker Welling.

The song "celebrates the perspective of a young mother navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood with her partner by her side," per a press release.

"I fell in love with a boy and I never looked back / A little slow kissing made my heart beat fast / We were taking our time and just like that / We're dancing in the kitchen fixing biscuits and gravy / Look at me rocking a diamond and a baby," Taite, 26, sings with a sweet lilt on the upbeat country track.

In the song's visual, the Colorado native appears singing in her kitchen during her morning routine in a white robe — balancing holding her baby, drinking coffee and taking in the sunlight.

"Shooting this video was my first time back on a 'set' since becoming a mom," Taite told PEOPLE in an email statement. "My husband brought my [at the time, 9mo] daughter Isla to be a part of the video in between nap times, and we made it through the day without any meltdowns or blowouts!"

She continued: "It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to chase both of my dreams — raising a family and singing songs about real life. To me, 'Diamond and a Baby' is the epitome of those worlds colliding."

Also premiering exclusively with PEOPLE is a behind-the-scenes conversation between Taite and songwriters Chris Rafetto and Phil Barton.

"That was important to me, too, making this kind of an anthem for moms and parents," the "Someone Else's Radio" singer said in the clip. "I think these things are seen as things that hold you back or tie you down — diamonds and babies both."

Taite continued: "In some ways, they hold you back from being out until 3 a.m. occasionally. But I think this showcases how fun life can be, and how I've enjoyed these roles so much. And I don't think people talk enough about how much fun it can be."
