Saskatoon police say two men were shot in separate incidents Wednesday.

Neither shooting was fatal.

In one incident, a man suffering from a gunshot wound entered City Hospital at about 5 p.m. CST. The 41-year-old man was unwilling to provide officers with any information to continue an investigation, police said in a news release.

Then, just before midnight, officers responded to another report of a man who had been shot in the 100 block of Avenue V South. This 24-year-old man also refused to provide a statement to officers.

In the second case, officers believe the suspect and victim were known to one another.

The injured man was transported to hospital by ambulance.

Members of the serious assault unit are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
