An interactive show revealing the ‘Pixar Process' opens at the California Science Center on October 15.

A showcase of the science, mathematics, engineering and technology underpinning the Socar-winning animation that dazzles old and young alike, the exhibition boasts over 40 interactive elements and is spread out across 12,000 square feet.

"The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition is a fun, hands-on experience where guests can explore the art and science of animation at Pixar as though they were part of the production team," said Jeffrey N. Rudolph, President and CEO at the California Science Center. "It's a great opportunity for them to participate in the step-by-step process where art incorporates science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to make all the elements of an animated film seem more believable."

Tickets are now available online and cost $9.95 for children under 13; $11.95 for teenagers, college students and seniors; and $14.95 for adults.
