Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the Scott Pilgrim anime series, ahead of its release in November.

The trailer shows off what Bryan Lee O'Malley's signature art style looks like in motion, combined with the kinetic energy of Edgar Wright's live-action movie. Hyperactive movement, lots of bright colours, and over-the-top action soundtracked by angst teen indie rock, this adaptation is Scott Pilgrim through-and-through.

Although we only get action scenes in the trailer and no dialogue, the trailer reassures us that all the major actors from the movie are returning to voice their characters.

"One of the proudest, most enjoyable achievements of my career was assembling the dynamite cast of Scott Pilgrim. Since the film's release in 2010 we've done Q&As and charity read throughs, but there was never the occasion to reunite the gang on an actual project. Until now…"
