Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and his fiancée Theresa Nist didn’t have to look far when it came to finding an officiant for their Golden Wedding.

On Tuesday, ABC announced that fan favorite Susan Noles — who has been a wedding officiant for over a decade and appeared on the inaugural season of the ABC dating series — would be presiding over the live televised ceremony, which airs on ABC Thursday.

“Who better to officiate #TheGoldenWedding than the one and only @thesusannoles?” a message on the Golden Bachelor Instagram read alongside a photo of the trio. “Don’t miss her in her element Thursday at 8/7c on ABC. Stream on Hulu!”

Noles also shared the news on social media, writing, “I guess the secret is out! I’m officiating THE GOLDEN WEDDING 💒 and I’m just beyond excited!! @goldenbachabc”

She posted a clip — which was set to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” — showing her revealing to her daughter that she would be officiating the big day.

“FaceTime with my daughter telling her I’m officiating THE wedding,” she wrote over the video, adding in the caption, “I guess the secret is out! I’m officiating THE GOLDEN WEDDING 💒 and I’m just beyond excited!! @goldenbachabc"

Ahead of the ceremony, Turner, 72, and Nist, 70, told PEOPLE there is one wedding tradition they won’t be skipping.

“Oh, I will definitely do a bouquet toss,” Nist said, before adding with a laugh: “There's plenty of women who want to catch that bouquet.”

Her fiancé added: “So true.”

"Sorry!" Nist shared, apologizing for the comment — an underhanded reference to the 20 other women who vied for her fiancé’s heart on national television in the inaugural season of the Bachelor spinoff show. “I think we will do all the traditional things that you normally do at a wedding.”

In addition to Noles, fans may see some familiar faces from Bachelor Nation at the ceremony, Nist teased. “You're probably going to see some,” she said, though she kept her cards close to her chest.

“We won't tell you who, but you're going to see some,” she added.

Nist has been open about her desire for the other women who dated Turner on the show to attend their wedding.

During a For Your Consideration panel at The Times Center in New York City in December, the former financial services professional confirmed that all of the other hopefuls had been invited to the wedding, though she wasn’t sure who would make it.

She also previously made an explicit mention of the season’s runner-up, Leslie Fhima, as she told Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt on their Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, “I would invite Leslie. I don’t know if she would come.

She also named Edith Aguirre, Pamela Burns, Peggy Dercole, Ellen Goltzer, Renee Halverson-Wright, Sandra Mason and Sylvia Robledo as the other ladies she’d want there on her big day.

Turner added Anna Zalk to the list, as Nist said, “I talk to Anna all the time."
