Sexyy Red Denies Low Ticket Sales for Her Upcoming Tour amid Cancellation Rumors: 'All Cap'

Sexyy Red is setting the record straight about sales for her upcoming tour.

The “Get It Sexyy” rapper, 26, quickly shut down rumors about needing to cancel her recently-announced tour following a report from Touring Data about low ticket sales.

“My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine,” she wrote in an X (formerly Twitter) post on Monday, July 8, in response to another page speculating about her tour being “on the verge” of cancellation.

“We not cancelling no tour,” the "Pound Town" artist added, “dis cancelling sht all cap🧢🧢.”

According to Touring Data, as of July 3, 37.11% of tickets from the 24-date Sexyy Red 4 President tour had been sold, with 85,217 available. However, the St. Louis native has denied that those numbers signal that she'll be axing her tour.

“Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u,” Sexyy explained in another X post, referring to her tour promoter, AG Entertainment, “we not cancelling sht.”

The rap star concluded her series of posts by blaming social media pages for “spreading fake news” about her tour, saying, “I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”

On June 25, Sexyy announced her North American headlining tour, where she’ll be joined by special guests Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and fellow St. Louis rapper/collaborator BlakeIANA.

The Hood Hottest Princess rapper will kick off her tour in Seattle on Aug. 22 before making stops in San Diego, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Orlando, New Orleans and her hometown. She’ll conclude the run of shows on Oct. 1 in Nashville.

Sexyy is coming off her June performance at the 2024 BET Awards, where she hit the stage alongside other artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, Ice Spice, Victoria Monét, Shaboozey and more. She’s set to perform at festivals like Lollapalooza and Broccoli City Festival later this summer.
