Shannen Doherty is reflecting on the first house she bought.

In the March 4 episode of her podcast, Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty, Doherty’s friend and Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green joined her for a trip down memory lane, starting with their very first homes.

Reflecting on the early days of their acting careers, Green, now 50, recalled being one of the first 90210 cast members to buy a house. He was able to purchase the home not because of his checks from the show, but because of all the commercials he appeared in, he said.

“I remember I was one of the first of our cast to buy a house, because I had money from commercials,” he told Doherty, 52, adding that he “bought a house in Burbank.”

While he was staying in the Burbank, California, home, Green — who was just 17 when 90210 first aired — recalled costar Jason Priestley staying in a condo, and Doherty purchasing her first house “either right before or right after” him.

“You were always really independent, I thought,” he told the Charmed actress.

Doherty — who was slightly older than Green at 19 when 90210 kicked off in 1990— said she bought her very first house a few years after the drama debuted.

“I didn’t buy a house, I think, until I was like 21 or something, 21 or 22,” the actress recalled, noting that the home was in Malibu.

"Yeah, I leased-purchased a house and then ran out of money and couldn’t afford it. That happened,” she said, and Green joked, “I love that my first house was in Burbank, and yours was in Malibu.”

Shortly after moving in, Doherty said she realized the commute to the 90210 set was “really hard,” and gave the starter house to her parents. Then, she headed to Los Angeles, where the show was filmed.

“I remember that one,” Green said of Doherty's L.A. home.

And by the time she was starring on Charmed, which premiered in 1998, Doherty said she had moved out of the property, opting to rent instead.

“I rented a lot of houses,” she recalled, noting that she rented because she “wasn’t settled, obviously.”

“Lots of money down the drain with the rental thing,” she said.
