The Simpsons' Bart star confirms relation to Sabrina Carpenter
The Simpsons star Nancy Cartwright has reacted to fans discovering she's related to pop singer Sabrina Carpenter.
Taking to TikTok, the Bart Simpson actor talked about being Carpenter's aunt, writing in the caption: "The rumors are true! Sabrina Carpenter is my niece!"
"Yeah, absolutely," she said in the clip. "Isn't that amazing? When you find out that somebody — maybe you've known me for a little while, doing this little 10-year-old boy for 35-something years, and some of you guys, for like way less than that — find out that I'm related to this superstar. She's pretty amazing."

For her part, the 'Espresso' singer previously sang her aunt's praises, saying: "By relation, I am also a legend."
"No, absolutely not, not even close," Carpenter continued in an interview with Capital FM.
"I will just say that my whole life, that was the coolest thing in the world to me. I wasn't even allowed to watch the show until I was a little bit older, but yeah. The woman is a woman of many talents. She's not just Bart, and she always blows me away."

It seems that the voice actor isn't the only talent Carpenter is surrounding herself with as the singer is currently dating Saltburn star Barry Keoghan.
Following their official red carpet debut at this year's Met Gala, the pop star and the Killing of a Sacred Deer actor have appeared in her music video for new single 'Please Please Please' in which they play a couple embroiled in a life of crime after meeting at a police station.
The Simpsons season 35 is currently airing on Sunday nights on FOX in the US. Seasons 1-34 are currently streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
