The Sims 4 has announced the return of Stuff Packs, with a new one on the way very soon.

The Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack is the first of its kind in nearly three years, and as the name suggests, it fleshes out ways for Sims to cook from the comfort of their own kitchen.

The pack is developed alongside team members across Europe, ensuring that there is some variety in the content being released.

For instance, one of the new gameplay items is a waffle maker that makes Nordic-style thin and crispy waffles, which can be prepared with cured fish and dill. Simmers who want something more North American can make chicken and waffles.

The team also teased "new ways of cooking" and "new ways to make money" – which are likely to be revealed in a trailer debuting on Thursday (September 14).

And as expected from Stuff Packs, Simmers can expect new Create-a-Sim and Build Buy items.

The pack will be accompanied by a free base game update that includes filters being added to recipe menus in-game as well as the option to bake cupcakes in the oven, rather than using the separate cupcake maker.

We also have an update over the community-voted kits, with a first look at the Goth Galore and Castle Estate Kits, which you can check out below:

Paranormal Stuff Pack was the last Stuff Pack back in January 2021. The spooky-themed content was well-received at the time with a decent amount of features.

Smaller-sized Kits were introduced in March 2021, and since then we've had 25 in total, the most recent ones being Poolside Splash and Modern Luxe earlier this month.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
