Liu gave the snacks, including pretzels and sweets, provided by host Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars a three out of 10 rating.
The "Shang-Chi" star praised the food at the Governors Ball, the official Oscars afterparty, giving it an exceptional 11 rating. He highlighted the wood-fired pizzas, paella, wagyu, sliders and Peking duck as standout dishes. Wolfgang Puck Catering, which was also in charge of last year's delicacies, reportedly provided the food.
He also enjoyed the iconic Vanity Fair party, which served In-N-Out burgers, and rated it a seven out of 10. Numerous celebrities were photographed enjoying the famous burgers at the party, including director Steven Spielberg, Emily Ratajkowski, Adwoa Aboah and Diane Kruger.
At Madonna's party — where cameras are not allowed — Liu appreciated the spread of curry, rice, naan and samosas, giving it a nine, although he admitted he was too full to enjoy it all.
Oscars appearance:
Liu missed an individual nomination for his role in “Barbie.” However, he joined co-actor Ryan Reynolds on Sunday's stage to perform the film’s hit song “I’m Just Ken.”
