CityLife @ Tampines (pictured), Singapore's first luxury hotel-inspired executive condominium (EC), obtained its TOP on 3 February.

Launched in November 2012, the EC project sold 90 percent of its 514 units within two days of its launch, and was subsequently sold out by March 2013.

Developed by a consortium comprising Amara Holdings, Kay Lim Holdings and SingHaiyi Group, the upmarket project comprises two- to five-bedroom apartments, dual-key, skysuite, and penthouse units.

It made the headlines after a 4,349 sq ft presidential penthouse suite, believed to be the largest EC unit in the country, was sold for a record $2.05 million. This translates to around $470 psf and rises to $744 psf, if only liveable space is factored in. Located on the 15th floor, the penthouse comes with a 1,600 sq ft roof terrace.

Commenting on the project's completion, Albert Teo, CEO of Amara Holdings, said: "With the EC's comprehensive suite of hotel-grade facilities, complemented by the convenience brought about by its strategic location in the heart of Tampines, we are confident residents will quickly feel at home."

Among the hotel-inspired features are a Home Concierge Service, resort-style landscaping, 100m infinity pool, complimentary Wi-Fi at common areas, and designer fittings and appliances.
