A video shared by ABC affiliate WFAA shows a snake outside of the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport as it attempts to enter one of the location's terminals — and even appears to knock on the airport's doors.

Olivia Constance of North Texas filmed the footage outside the airport's Terminal D around 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 2.

In the clip, two women can be heard commenting on the reptilian ordeal as passers-by watch the snake shenanigans unfold.

"Is it gonna set it off," one woman asks about the airport's automatic door while the snake slithers right toward it.

"No, they can't let it inside; there's children in there," another voice adds in the video.

In the footage, the snake knocks its head on the door's glass window. "It wants in. It's like, 'It's too hot out here,'" one spectator says, while another adds: "It's knocking on the door, basically."

Luckily, nobody walked over to let the snake into the popular Texas airport, and the door's sensors didn't react to the reptile's weight.

Per WFAA, an airport spokesperson confirmed that the facility was unaware of any snake-related incidents at DFW on Sunday, which would make sense, given that the critter didn't seem to get very far.

NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth noted that dozens of wild venomous and non-venomous snakes native to Texas live around the airport. The outlet added that it is best to leave any wild snake you encounter alone unless someone is in danger.

Numerous snakes spent the spring trying to slip into places prohibited to them. In May, Lisa Kournelis of Newcastle told Australia's ABC that she had been driving around with a venomous red-bellied black snake in her vehicle for weeks.

The reptile, whom she named "Fluffy," first entered her vehicle in March or April and has refused to leave despite numerous removal attempts from professional snake catchers.

As Kournelis explained in May, she's learned to coexist with the critter by driving around in protective gear.

"Yeah, I was putting a box in my car and it was sitting on the back seat," Kournelis said about spotting the snake in her car for the first time. "I believe it was in there for a good three weeks before that because I was finding snake poo everywhere."
