Sonos wireless speakers will soon get Spotify, Echo control
Sonos' sound systems will integrate with the Spotify app and Amazon's voice-controlled assistant, Echo.
Spotify Premium users will be able to control their Sonos equipment through the Spotify app in an October update for beta program members, the personal, home, and in-car audio firm announced on August 30.
It also revealed that early 2017 will bring integration with Amazon's voice-controlled assistant, Echo, as TechCrunch outlined.
The two partnerships follow on from intentions made known earlier in the year that would see the company align more closely with both voice control and streaming technology.
