Sophia Culpo Shares Inside Look at Sister Olivia's Wedding Day Prep: 'Chaos Has Ensued' (Exclusive)

Olivia Culpo's Rhode Island wedding to NFL star Christian McCaffrey on June 29 was picture-perfect.

However, it was also phone-free so that the guests could truly live in the moment.

Olivia's younger sister Sophia Culpo, 27, captured plenty of content in the days (even hours) leading up to "I do" before tucking her phone away — and she took PEOPLE along on the morning of the wedding while she got glam.

"For glam, we're doing a low, slicked-back bun," she says in the exclusive video showing off her getting-ready process and the beginning of her day as a bridesmaid. She also rocked "natural makeup" for the day, as did Olivia herself.

Olivia actually skipped mascara, lip liner and brow makeup, she told Vogue, because she wanted to keep things classic. “I never felt more beautiful than when I was in my ceremony dress and under my veil — I really wanted the simplicity of each component to harmonize perfectly,” she told the outlet.

Sophia's video followed the family around the Ocean House in Watch Hill, R.I., as they prepped — including showing Olivia herself kick a few people out of the bathroom so she could use it.

"The bride has to pee," Sophia very seriously says in the video, before Olivia jokingly gets up close and personal with the camera. As she ducks out of the frame, Sophia shows off her hairstyling skills on her boyfriend, Michael Stevens, who is sitting patiently while she whips his hair into shape ahead of the ceremony.

Sophia asks Olivia, 32, if she has anything she wants to say for the video and she very sweetly says, "It's my wedding day," and nothing more.

Before signing off for the phone-free day, Sophia shows that the "wedding chaos has ensued" — which includes some of the kids running around and the noise level rapidly rising.

Sophia and big sister Aurora Culpo, who was also a bridesmaid in Olivia's big day, both wore custom Dolce & Gabbana gowns for the ceremony. For the reception, they changed into contrasting dresses for the black-tie event. For the welcome party, Sophia opted for a buttery yellow dress that dipped low in the back, while Aurora chose a soft pink strapless number. Olivia wore another Dolce & Gabbana piece — this one a chiffon dress with bishop sleeves to play into the Italian-style party.

Olivia also wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown for the wedding. She told Vogue, “I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form. I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complementing me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”
