Fans of sour candy get excited because one of the biggest names in gummies has a new product hitting shelves this summer. We know how hard it can be to choose between sweet or sour, but you get the best of both worlds in one bite thanks to Sour Patch Kids. It won our hearts earlier this year by bringing back the Black Cherry Sour Patch Kids for Valentine’s Day. Then, the sour-coated candy paired up with Oreo to release a surprising limited-time collab.

Now, the candy aisle’s most mischievous gummies are back with a new flavor, and this time, the brand is teaming up with an iconic beverage for a nostalgic combination.

Sour Patch Kids and Snapple have collaborated to create a mix featuring some of the beverage’s most popular flavors. Sour Patch Kids Snapple Fruit-Flavored Mix includes Mango Madness, Kiwi Strawberry, and Fruit Punch.

“At Sour Patch Kids, we're always looking for inventive ways to introduce new flavors and spark excitement among our fans, and what better way to do that than by partnering with Snapple, whose iconic juice drink flavors perfectly complement our sour-then-sweet experience,” said Grace Howard, Innovation Brand Manager at Mondelēz International in a press release.

The brand launched its mash-up with an intriguing Instagram video that left fans guessing what the product might be. “Ahh, I thought this was gonna turn into a Sour Patch x Snapple collaboration and get a new drink,” said one fan. “[There’s] no better duo,” added another.

The candy was first spotted earlier this year at the 2024 Sweets and Snacks Expo alongside creations from Baskin-Robbins and Nerds. In a May Instagram post, @candyhunting previewed the new treat after the expo, and fans immediately embraced the idea. “I’m running to get these,” said one commenter. “I loved the Sour Patch Snapple,” added another.

For those who can’t get enough of the fruit-filled Snapple taste, you’ll also want to look for another new combo. Swedish Fish Snapple Fruit Flavor Mix hit shelves alongside Sour Patch Snapple Fruit-Flavored Mix candy. Both varieties are now available at all major retailers, but only for a limited time.
