Spain XI vs Germany: Starting lineup, confirmed Euro 2024 team news, injury latest for quarter-final today

Spain have named an unchanged team as expected for today’s Euro 2024 quarter-final tie against Germany.

Manager Luis de la Fuente was able to rest 10 of his players for La Roja’s final group game and still saw his side beat Albania.

All of the big hitters were then restored for their impressive 4-1 win over Georgia in the last 16 as Spain underlined their credentials as one of the favourites for the tournament.

They will now meet Germany in Stuttgart in what looks like one of the games of the competition so far.

Such has been their success to date, there have been no changes from De La Fuente today.

The exciting Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal flank Alvaro Morata up front, while the midfield trio of Rodri, Fabian Ruiz and Pedri continue.

Nacho Fernandez is fit again but doesn’t oust either Aymeric Laporte or Robin Le Normand in central defence, while Ayoze Perez is also back but will take a seat on the bench.

Spain lineup: Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Cucurella; Pedri, Rodri, Ruiz; Yamal, Morata, Williams

Subs: Raya, Nacho, Vivian, Merino, Joselu, Olmo, Torres, Grimaldo, Remiro, Baena, Zubimendi, Oyarzabal, Jesus Navas, Lopez, Perez
