Star Jones' ex-husband Al Reynolds is telling his truth.

Reynolds, who was married to the former The View co-host from 2004-2008, came out as bisexual in 2017, and has recently shared that each of his former partners were aware of his sexuality.

While on the latest installment of Fox Soul's Tea-G-I-F, Reynolds, his co-host Claudia Jordan and guest co-host, comedian Luenell, opined about whether someone who is transgender should share their gender identity on the first date.

Reynolds, 55, weighed in and said he doesn't believe it's "easy" for a person to disclose it because "there's so many moving factors around this."

Luenell then pointed out Reynolds' previous marriage to Jones, 62, and asked him about his sexuality. "Did you come out and expose yourself to Star when you first got married?"

"Oh my goodness, I have never been not truthful with anybody that I've dated," Reynolds replied.

He continued, "I've talked about this on this platform before. I have always been very honest with all of my partners about my sexuality ... all of them. At the time that I dated them, I've been very open and honest about my sexuality."

PEOPLE reached out to a rep for Jones for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Reynolds publicly came out in 2017 during an interview with Radar Online.

He shared that although many people had been "speculating" about his sexuality, he was ready to tell his story.

“I have come to a point in my life where I am ready to discuss my truth," he said in part. "I wasn’t ready to do this then — I wasn’t even ready to think about it, let alone process it."

“Today I accept myself as a bisexual man. I have learned that sexual orientation is not binary, at least for me. I am capable of loving both sexes, and I have done both,” he added. “My relationships, all of them, have been honest and based on my attraction to the other person. When I am in love I don’t equivocate, nor do I waver.”

He said he decided to come out at that time with the hopes of helping others, concluding, "I will not live in fear or shame any longer."

Jones has since married administrative law judge Ricardo Lugo. The two met online and wed in 2018, renewing their vows last year.
