Star Wars X-Wing and TIE fighter craft to land at Changi Airport

Star Wars fans in Singapore rejoice - The Force in the form of two iconic Star Wars fighter craft will arrive at Changi Airport in November.

A life-sized X-Wing will be on display at Terminal 3 while a TIE fighter will be at Terminal 2. Starfighter X-Wing pilots will be marching alongside Imperial Stormstroopers at the launch parade at T3 on 12 November.

Members of the public can view the two Star Wars fighter craft from 12 November to 5 January next year.

Changi Airport will also play host on 12 November to the first commercial aircraft in the world to be designed with a Star Wars livery. The ANA flight, decked in the droid R2-D2 from Star Wars, will make a two-nights stopover in Singapore.

The much-awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, the seventh from the immensely popular franchise, will be released in Singapore cinemas on 17 December.
