StarHub offers half-price EPL streaming service for Pioneer Generation seniors
They can sign up for live matches and online features for just $12.61 monthly, down from the usual price of $25.22
SINGAPORE — Pioneer Generation senior citizens in Singapore - those who were 16 years old or older in 1965 - can now enjoy watching English Premier League matches on StarHub for half the usual subscription price for the upcoming season.
They can subscribe to the local telco's Premier+ streaming service over any network for $12.61 monthly, down from the usual monthly subscription of $25.22. They can do so by signing up at any StarHub retail outlet.
With the Premier+ package, seniors can immerse themselves in live EPL match action in the upcoming 2023/24 season, as well as online features including anytime access to match replays, statistics, highlights, interactive timelines and 4K Ultra HD streaming quality for select matches.
StarHub will also be rolling out educational roadshows from August at selected supermarket outlets to introduce seniors to streaming TV, helping them to embrace digital technology.
The telco had signed a six-year deal in February 2022 to broadcast EPL matches in Singapore. Subscriptions to the Premier+ streaming package were priced at $24.99 last season.
