Strictly Come Dancing spoilers follow.

Strictly Come Dancing's launch show is this weekend, revealing which celebrities will be paired with the professional dancers. Unless you've read the online spoilers, or Dan Walker's social media.

The presenter and former Strictly contestant was called out by fans for letting a spoiler slip on his Twitter/X account, so if you don't want to know before the big night, don't read ahead.

Following the leak of all the celebrity and professional pairings, Walker posted: "Looking forward to the new series of Strictly. All the pros are great but gutted that Nadiya Bychkova hasn't got a partner.

"I'm sure she's still looking forward to being part of the biggest show on TV but it feels a bit like putting Messi on the bench for the World Cup final!

"She is so talented, the best teacher anyone could hope for, a top class lobster and she's the Yorkshire Barmaid! It's an incredible show and the whole team are amazing. I hope the celebs enjoy it."

People spoiling Strictly ahead of time, whether it's the pairings or the eliminations that are filmed on the Saturday and broadcast Sunday nights, is frowned upon by the fanbase, and people let Dan know in the comments that they weren't too happy.

"Spoiler Dan. Thanks for that. Not," wrote one viewer, while another said: "Pairings aren't out yet so I'm disappointed to see this."

"Thanks for spoiling it Dan," commented a third fan.

Anton Du Beke is another person who isn't a fan of spoilers at all, stating recently: "I can only think they take great pleasure from it and I just want to say grow up. Don't spoil it for other people."

Strictly Come Dancing returns for its launch special on September 16 on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
