Strictly’s Joe Sugg opens up on kitchen dancing with girlfriend Dianne Buswell
Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg has revealed he still regularly dances with his girlfriend and former dance partner Dianne Buswell.
The two were partnered together on the hit BBC show in 2018, with Joe and Dianne making it all the way to the final.
The pair confirmed their romance shortly after the series ended and have been living together since August 2019. In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Joe admitted the two often enjoy a twirl together at home.

"Me and Dianne still dance whenever we can," he tells us. "Like when she’s home, we have a little ballroom dance around the kitchen, which is really fun, and she says I haven’t lost it, which is good."
Joe still prefers Ballroom over Latin dances, jokingly adding: "Latin – maybe a little bit [of practice]. The hips have got a bit rusty as I’ve got older."
Since 2023 marks five years since Joe appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, he admits he'd be less confident returning to the dance floor now if the opportunity arose.

"If I was asked to go and perform now, Saturday night live, again in front of all of those people, I think the nerves would set back in," he tells Digital Spy. "I’d be a bit like 'Oh I dunno if I can do this now'."
Instead, Joe is happy co-hosting the behind-the-scenes Strictly podcast with Kim Weston, which returned to accompany the 2023 series.
Joe has been similarly busy in the podcast space this year with the release of his first podcast series titled 'Username Resurgent'. The 10-episode audio adventure – featuring the voices of Shadow and Bone star Kit Young and Queen Charlotte's India Amarteifio – centres on a true-crime story set in the same world as Joe's bestselling 'Username' comic book series.
