Strictly star Layton Williams steps back from BBC reality show
Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams won't be returning for I Kissed A Girl following the success of the show's all-male version I Kissed A Boy.
Currently partnered with Nikita Kuzmin on this season of Strictly, Williams has announced he's stepped back as narrator of reality TV show I Kissed A Girl after having lent his voice to I Kissed A Boy earlier in the year.
The actor explained he felt it would be more appropriate for a queer woman to narrate the upcoming reality TV show focusing on the lives of lesbian and bisexual women.

"We are now wrapped on I Kissed A Girl," he revealed in a chat to The Sun.
"I will not be voicing that one because I'm not a lesbian, but I just want to say I'm so proud to have been part of this beautiful show," he then said.
Similarly to I Kissed A Boy, the new reality will see a bunch of single women trying to find love. The format consists of having the contestants share a kiss before they've even spoken to each other to see if chemistry is a good start that may lead to something more.
As for Williams, the Everybody's Talking About Jamie and Billy Elliot star continues wowing judges and fans on Strictly.

Recently, the Bad Education actor shared a message for his trolls on X (formerly known as Twitter), reminding everyone watching Strictly, and haters particularly, to focus on positive thoughts.
"Instead of coming at me with hateful comments, use your energy to shower your fave celeb with love instead," he wrote on October 23. "Pretty sure it will make us all feel much better! #ChooseJoy."
Williams had previously shared a message addressing the negative comments he's been receiving since joining the dance competition, writing: "I'm trying to handle this with a smile and determination to slay another day but reminder #BeKind."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
